All art is political. Please consider: what dissolves and what forms remain in the inevitable politicization of art? How do forms take shape socially? How does artistic practice politicize form? What is possible in this particular space? How are the materials and processes that we use to address this topic, in and of themselves, politicized?
DISSOLVE is seeking submissions that somehow engage with the aforementioned concepts of form, both written and visual. This can be done both directly or indirectly—the theme is meant to be a point of departure. Please submit by September 23rd.
